
Objectives: Self-starter with attention to detail and strong follow through; able to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with problem solving and decision-making abilities with emphasis on quality control and material management. Direct work progress of subcontractors and other support staff.
Responsibilities:
Know performance criteria, scopes of work, and construction standards for each of the subcontractor trades.
Coordinate, direct, and schedule the work of the subcontractors.
Enforce standard methods of construction, quality standards, and operating and control procedure for all the various aspects of construction.
Monitor subcontractor workmanship for quality assurance and conformance with the construction documents.
Create subcontractor punch lists for deficient work.
Establish and manage project schedules that are consistent with project completion dates.
Coordinate, schedule and attend inspections with municipal building department.
Review and accept owner material deliveries for accuracy and completeness.
Assist PM in preparing daily reports.
Monitor and enforce company safety program.
Maintain a good cooperating relationship with architects, engineers, subcontractors, employees, material suppliers, and the general public.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience on ground up multi‑family wood frame construction.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Professionalism – approaches others in tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions.
Quality – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance.

Safety – observes safety procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Extremely detail-oriented.
Thorough understanding of quality building practices.
Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
May require travel.
Exposure to characteristic construction site conditions.
