R-100200Ag Processing, Inc (AGP) is currently seeking dynamic candidates for a Maintenance Superintendent for our facility in Emmetsburg, IA! Come join our fast-paced, positive environment to supervise direction of the maintenance and instrumentation work while also monitoring and maintaining warehouse inventory.**Responsibilities****:*** Supervise daily maintenance department activities through training employees, determining methods for employee work, scheduling, and conducting employee performance appraisals.* Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory, including completing purchase orders for ordering parts and supplies.* Review work orders, assign personnel for fulfillment, and enter documentation into computer.* Inspect and maintain equipment operations.* Use INFOR System to enter, track and update work orders and Preventive Maintenance schedules.* Participate in the Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity Team to enhance safety and efficiency within the Facility.* Write reports, including subordinate time sheets, maintenance reports and accident reports.* Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.**Requirements:*** College/ Technical School degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.* Two years of maintenance and supervisory experience or equivalent preferred.* Knowledge and/or experience in soy processing is preferred.* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and practices.* Solid experience with using supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, training, and motivation employees.* Problem solver with analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.* Able to operate equipment including industrial machinery and hand and power tools in addition to various office equipment including computer and printer.* Fluent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and experience with AutoCAD.* Ability to effectively function as a team player and with diverse individuals and groups.* Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests.* Demonstrated courteous, professional communication skills.Ag Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.Ag Processing Inc is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting of oilseeds, grains, and related products.
