Sophisticated security with simple solutions Intrusion detection in the cloud isn’t where it needs to be. External and internal adversaries alike can dodge complex or difficult to interpret rules and anomaly models.

Tracebit seeks to provide a solution for security teams that provides them with a low volume of highly relevant, actionable alerts when it matters.

Working at Tracebit We’re building something meaningful in one of the fastest‑growing industries in software with the pace, ambition, and energy of a true start‑up. You’ll work closely with experienced founders who’ve scaled successful ventures before, learning fast and seeing the impact of your work every day.

We thrive on collaboration and curiosity, growing quickly by staying close to our customers, our craft, and each other. Based in Fitzrovia (London) and Manhattan (NYC), we believe the best ideas come from working side by side in the office, moving fast, building boldly, and having fun along the way.

Founding Account Executive Location New York, Manhattan

Employment Type Full‑time, On‑site

Compensation Tracebit is helping some of the world’s best security teams at Snyk, Docker, Riot Games and many more to ‘assume breach’ at scale. Tracebit detects intrusions in cloud environments using canaries – decoy assets deployed to deceive attackers.

We're at a massive inflection point and there has never been a more exciting time to join us: we are backed by top investors and have experienced rapid growth. We are building a U.S. sales team in New York.

About The Role: As our first U.S.-based Account Executive, you'll be instrumental in building our U.S. Go‑to‑Market engine. You'll work closely with our London-based Founding Sales Lead to establish repeatable sales processes while closing your own deals.

What you'll do:

Close deals with some of the most exciting logos globally – own the full sales cycle from discovery through to contract signature on key deals in the $50‑100k+ ARR range, working across SMB and Mid‑Market companies.

Work both inbound and outbound opportunities – convert warm inbound leads and run targeted outbound campaigns into accounts that match your ICP. Own your own business.

Help build our sales playbook – re‑write existing GTM motions, refine discovery questions, demo flow, objection handling, and closing tactics.

Partner with the product and customer success teams – provide feedback on what prospects share and what would accelerate deals.

Represent Tracebit at industry events – attend key cybersecurity conferences (Black Hat, RSA, etc.) to build pipeline and strengthen relationships with prospects.

Operate with high velocity – manage multiple deals simultaneously, moving fast while maintaining deal quality.

This is a hands‑on closing role in a fast‑moving startup. You'll have autonomy to experiment, direct access to founders, and the opportunity to grow quickly.

Who we're looking for:

Experience selling technical B2B SaaS products:

3‑5 years, ideally in cybersecurity or developer tooling, with a track record of closing deals in the $50‑100k+ range and navigating technical buyers.

Full‑cycle ownership:

run deals from first call to signed contract, comfortable with both 30‑day volume deals and longer complex sales cycles.

Builder mindset:

early sales hire or eager to learn, not just execute; refine pitch, messaging, and processes based on field learnings.

Self‑sufficient & hungry:

build own pipeline, work inbound opportunities, and find creative ways to reach target prospects.

Startup spirit:

thrive in ambiguity, fast iteration, and close collaboration with founders and product teams.

Personal characteristics:

high emotional intelligence, hunger, grit, attention to detail, entrepreneurial drive.

Bonus points:

prior AE role at a startup or experience selling into security/technical teams.
