Job Details Type: Full‑Time Regular – 40 hours Min: $32.00 / Hr. Max: $40.00 / Hr.
Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as‑built surveys.
Must have the ability to mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
Must have the ability to operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and GPS equipment.
Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field.
Must have ability to interpret design plans and understand as‑built drawings and roadway plans.
Must have ability to create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
A valid current driver’s license is required.
Ability to follow instructions and have a positive can‑do attitude are necessities.
Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and/or Skills Required:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Highschool Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to maintain required certifications.
Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
