Service Plumber , you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures. The compensation for this role depends on knowledge, skills, and experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sites. Troubleshoot plumbing problems and replace/repair systems, piping, and fixtures as needed. Diagnose problems, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and reassemble parts, and make necessary repairs to piping, fixtures, and associated components. Read blueprints and have knowledge of plumbing codes to diagnose and repair issues. Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device. Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame. Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory. Ability to climb and work off ladders at varying heights. Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned. Education, Training, Licenses, and Certifications Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial plumbing systems preferred. Journeyman plumbing license is a plus. Backflow certification is a plus. Master plumbing license is a plus. OSHA 10 certification preferred. Additional Requirements Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude. Require mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills. Comply with and promote the company's Safety Policy. Be initiative-driven, self-motivated, and a self-starter. Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintain a professional demeanor with a positive, caring attitude. Ability to work independently without supervision. Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably. Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnostics. Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Pass a full background screening and drug test. Pass MVR check if applicable, or have reliable transportation. Pass a physical ability test.
