Be able to follow all Company or site-specific safety rules Place and finish concrete. Trowel finish and broom finish Install rebar reinforcement for concrete foundations Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straightedge and float or power screed Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound Strip and clean forms. Patch stripped concrete Employees are expected to be flexible in their work and assume other responsibilities assigned by management, as deemed necessary Education/Skills and Specifications:
High School Degree (preferred) Basic or advanced math skills, knowledge of design/plans and construction principles General knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment Ability to work with different construction equipment/tools Ability to effectively communicate with crew, contractors and Job Superintendent(s) Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal Possess necessary communication skills in both written and verbal forms Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record Must be able to work as a team on all projects Position Requirements:
Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen Must be able to pass a drug screen Consent to authorization of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record request Class A CDL is preferred but not required Reliable transportation to and from work Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed Willingness to travel/work out of town Physical Requirements:
