Position Details
Location: Morton Plant Hospital – Clearwater, Florida
Employment Type: Full‑time
Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Days: Monday‑Friday
Responsibilities
Perform demand‑based and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily HVAC systems.
Comply with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.
Maintain facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.
Be available to work various shifts and weekends as needed.
Travel to other BayCare Health System facilities to perform maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
Required:
High School or Equivalent
Preferred:
Technical
Licenses
Required:
FL Driver's License; EPA Certification
Preferred:
Refrigeration Certification
Experience
Required:
5 years as HVAC/R service‑related technician.
Required:
2 years with building automation systems.
Preferred:
3 years maintenance in a hospital‑related field.
Preferred:
1 year high‑rise experience.
Specific Skills

Ability to work on a team
Organizational skills
Computer skills appropriate to the position
Time management skills
Use of hand and power tools
