Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Northern Wolves Inc is excited to announce an opening for an HVAC Drafter to join our innovative team! If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for drafting HVAC systems, this is your chance to play a vital role in our projects. As an HVAC Drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate and comprehensive drawings that will guide the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and performance of our projects, ensuring that our designs meet client needs and adhere to industry standards. Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D & 3D HVAC drawings and specifications using CAD software based on project requirements Prepare project submittals, cut sheets, details, specifications BIM Coordinations Collaborate with engineers to understand design intentions and incorporate feedback into draft plans Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards Create and maintain records of revisions and changes to drawings Assist in performing engineering calculations for system sizing and performance Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients Stay informed about advancements in HVAC design technologies and drafting software
Requirements
Associate's degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience in HVAC drafting or a related role Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with drafting standards Understanding of HVAC systems, load calculations, and design principles Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
