Overview
HVAC Mechanic role at Government Contracting Resources, Inc. Location: Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, Albany, GA.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC systems and controls.
Troubleshoot and repair air handlers, split systems, boilers, chillers, VAV boxes, and control systems.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes as well as installation-specific regulations.
Maintain logs and service records in accordance with facility and contract requirements.
Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations if required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC service.
HAR (Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Certification required.
Boiler experience highly preferred.
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check and obtain base access.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on government or military contracts.
Familiarity with DDC/BAS systems.
Strong understanding of safety practices in industrial or government facilities.
