— Location: Brentwood, TN — Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 per year
Job Overview Driven Security is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical / Low Voltage Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager to join our Nashville-based team. This role leads estimating and pre‑construction operations for security and low‑voltage system projects, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and structured cabling. You will collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, engineering, project management, and operations to deliver accurate bids and support seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and low‑voltage systems.
Analyze construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and RFPs.
Perform accurate takeoffs, material counts, and labor estimates.
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotes and pricing.
Lead internal bid strategy discussions and pre‑construction planning meetings.
Identify risks and value‑engineering opportunities to enhance competitiveness.
Ensure estimates are thorough, accurate, and aligned with company profit goals.
Present proposals to leadership and clients with clarity and professionalism.
Support project transitions and handoffs to project management teams.
Conduct project site walks and evaluations when necessary.
Track historical bid data and maintain up‑to‑date estimating tools and databases.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team process improvements.
Qualifications
5+ years of electrical or low‑voltage estimating and pre‑construction experience.
Deep understanding of low‑voltage system components and integration.
Proficient in estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On‑Screen Takeoff, etc.).
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and scopes of work.
Experience balancing competitive pricing with profitability.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Prior leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
