Key Responsibilities
Prepare complex individual, partnership, S-corporation, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120).
Conduct initial reviews and assist in quality control to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain organized workpapers and documentation aligned with firm standards.
Communicate with clients to request information, clarify items, and provide status updates.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on tax issues.
Manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Support process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and best practice implementation.
Embody firm values through clear communication, proactive ownership, and attention to detail.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of pure tax return preparation experience in a public accounting firm (not private).
Strong experience preparing 1120S, 1065, 1120, and 1040 returns.
Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws.
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
