We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. You must be knowledgeable in local plumbing codes and committed to delivering high-quality work while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide appropriate repair or replacement options
Install and test water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations
Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards
Respond to emergency plumbing calls and perform scheduled maintenance
Collaborate with contractors and other trades as needed
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred
Proven experience as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment
Familiarity with relevant codes and safety standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment or materials
Preferred Skills:
Certification in backflow prevention, gas line installation, or specialized systems
Basic knowledge of HVAC or electrical systems
Experience using plumbing software or digital work order systems
Working Conditions:
May require work in confined spaces, at heights, or in various weather conditions
