We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. We are looking for an experienced well-rounded Pile Driver for the Jacksonville area.
Position Summary:
The Pile Driver will be responsible for operating pile-driving equipment to drive, hammer, and position piles, beams, and other foundation materials into the ground to support buildings, bridges, piers, and other structures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate pile-driving rigs and equipment to drive steel, concrete, or timber piles into soil. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Align, position, and stabilize piles according to project requirements. Assist with rigging and signaling for crane operators. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Work with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on time and within safety guidelines. Follow all company, site, and OSHA safety regulations. Assist with other duties as needed. Qualifications
Proven experience as a pile driver or in a similar heavy equipment operator role. Knowledge of pile-driving equipment and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse conditions. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. OSHA certifications and/or NCCCO operator certification a plus. What We Offer
