Key responsibilities Installation and removal

Install and remove aircraft interior components such as seats, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, panels, and carpeting.

Repair and maintenance

Repair and replace damaged or worn interior components, including brackets, panels, and upholstery.

Modifications

Perform modifications and upgrades to existing interiors.

Electrical systems

Assist with the installation of basic electrical systems for interior lighting and other components.

Documentation

Document work, track parts, and ensure compliance with company and FAA procedures.

Quality control

Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and collaborate with inspectors and other technicians.

Safety and housekeeping

Comply with safety policies, maintain a clean work area, and use personal protective equipment.

Material handling

Remove and reinstall fasteners and use material tracking systems.

Teamwork

Work with other technicians and departments, and sometimes train junior technicians.
