RESPOSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project requirements.
Frame wall, roof, stair and deck structures.
Interior commercial doors, baseboards, and acoustical ceilings.
Install siding, trim, roofing, fascia and soffit.
Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
Operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
Comply with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Performing carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry.
Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Two years prior experience as carpenter (preferred)
Knowledge of building code requirements
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Experience as lead carpenter
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all time
Good physical condition and endurance
Reliable Transportation
Proper protective clothing
