A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled 3D Drafter to join their engineering team in Salisbury, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with SolidWorks experience to work on custom mechanical systems projects in a stable, Monday‑Friday position.
You’ll be creating critical 3D shop fabrication drawings that directly support the manufacturing of precision‑engineered products, working closely with engineers in a collaborative environment. Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma
SolidWorks experience (required)
Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and reliable attendance
Desired Skills & Experience
AutoCAD experience
Additional training/certifications in drafting or related field
Experience with custom fabrication or manufacturing drawings
Experience in mechanical systems industry

70% SolidWorks 3D Modeling
20% AutoCAD (if applicable)
10% Microsoft Office Documentation
Daily Responsibilities
60% Creating detailed 3D shop fabrication drawings for custom products
20% Collaborating with engineers and team members to refine and validate designs
15% Quality checks and ensuring drawings meet industry standards
5% Project timeline management and documentation
