About the Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field‑based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
Perform on‑site preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow‑up repairs on Class 6‑8 trucks.
Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments.
Use hand and power tools to complete repairs.
Road‑test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top‑quality standards.
Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry‑standard repair times.
Jump in wherever needed – we’re a team that supports each other.
What Makes You a Great Fit
At least 3 years of hands‑on diesel tech experience on Class 6‑8 trucks.
Expertise in CNG engine systems is a huge plus.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.
Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.
Independent, dependable, and self‑motivated.
A positive attitude and safety‑first mindset.
Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Bring your own hand tools; we’ll supply everything else.
Work Environment
Dynamic high‑traffic areas – safety and precision are key.
Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and shop or yard noise.
Safe handling of chemicals, oils, and grease.
Ability to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components.
Active work: bend, kneel, crawl, crouch to access vehicle components.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
