California Closets of Charleston, SC is looking to expand our team in the Installation department. If you have an aptitude for woodworking, a valid SCDL, a good driving record, and are able to work independently, we would like to consider you for a position with our organization. We provide equipment and training, as well as a competitive pay scale for this outstanding opportunity. The main responsibility of this position is to produce & install our products in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, upholding the business & personal ethics along with the customer satisfaction levels that our clients have come to expect, and that California Closets has always stood for. What We Offer: hourly plus performance-based compensation PTO (paid time off) days paid holidays paid vacation transportation from our location to and from client job sites will be provided company tools provided Monday through Thursday work week (some Fridays may be available) hours 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (times may vary based on operational needs) guaranteed 40 hours/week with overtime potential grow your career with us – many promotional opportunities available working with luxury products and 100% custom builds Duties and Responsibilities: maintain a commitment to client satisfaction, customer service, and excellence perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings utilize provided CAD drawings to install systems properly and efficiently assemble and install systems of varying complexity assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order install systems independently or with team members participate in training programs as needed and as required provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations maintain safety standards at all times responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating company-provided vehicles safely perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required experience with common hand and power tools cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable strong verbal and written communication and listening skills maintain a strong work ethic possess reliable transportation to and from our facility ability to pass background checks ability to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch Hourly Pay Range:
$17.00 to $26.00 Range depends on experience, skill sets, and fit for the position Performance-Based Compensation:
