Our focus includes silt fence, hydroseeding, SWPPP inspections, and construction debris removal.
Job Summary This is a General Labor position with multiple job duties essential to daily operations in the erosion control division.
The Crew Member‑Driver is responsible for the physical installation of silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other erosion control services on residential and commercial sites, as well as driving the company work truck to and from each worksite.
The role requires following direction from the Crew Leader and utilizing vehicles, hand tools, and equipment efficiently.
More experienced individuals may be considered for a Crew Leader role, with preference for a clean driving record.
Duties & Functions
Review the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
Drive the company work truck to and from work sites, obeying traffic laws.
Represent Greenrise Technologies professionally to customers and homeowners at all times.
Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise Technologies quality.
Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed.
Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader’s direction.
Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew’s silt fence installation output.
Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly.
Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command.
Requirements
A valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record (Required).
Ability to listen well and follow directions.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills as part of a team.
Commitment to customer service and professional representation.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic ability to read and write legibly.
High character, honesty, and integrity essential.
Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision at times.
Consistent utilization of good judgement and sound decision‑making.
Take initiative and proactively seek continued performance improvement.
Experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations (preferred).
Experience pulling a trailer (preferred).
Must have a reliable cell phone.
