Senior CNC Setup Machinist About Us:

As a CNC Setup Machinist, you'll work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to delivering high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications Set up and run multiple machines Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot issues and propose innovative solutions Stay updated on industry advancements and embrace new technologies Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with expertise in machine setup and operation Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience machining precision parts for military and aerospace applications Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret tolerances and GD&T specifications accurately Knowledge of machining centers and controllers, especially Makinos and Mazaks Proficiency with precision measurement tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to adapt to change and learn new technologies Motivated to grow with the company and take on challenges Seniority level
