Essential Duties for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and their properties, including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Possess knowledge of pipe fabrication practices and procedures, including electric, arc, and acetylene welding, brazing, and soldering.

Familiarity with threading, glued, bolted, and compression‑type fittings.

Requirements for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter

6+ years of fire/sprinkler experience.

2+ years of Foreman experience is preferred.

Ability to relay instructions and directions to workers.

Highly organized, systematic, and adherent to construction deadlines.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to work overtime.

Basic proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on‑site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
