Place Services Inc. has immediate needs for several Mechanical Piping Foreman (HVAC) positions based near Greenville, SC. These are local Upstate South Carolina positions. The base pay range is $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr. Place Services, Inc. is a leading commercial construction company with headquarters in Canton, Georgia. Manage and coordinate crews, monitor crew performance Relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign tasks; supervise, and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed Oversee crew to ensure material is installed per code and manufacturer requirements Understand project scope of work, plan submittals, and equipment requirements Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure crew follows company safety standards Who You Are

3+ years of commercial/industrial mechanical experience Piping experience Thorough knowledge of mechanical piping practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment Thorough knowledge of prevailing codes of the mechanical trades Thorough knowledge of safety hazards and precautions Ability to supervise skilled and semi-skilled workers Ability to analyze defects in mechanical equipment and determine necessary repairs Ability to read and interpret blueprints and lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and parts Ability to estimate labor and materials for mechanical jobs Ability to maintain good working relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and transfer 130 lbs with assistance Ability to ascend and descend ladders and work from heights, including elevated aerial devices EEO Statement:
