$16.75 - $23.13 per hour
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Technical school preferred
Refrigeration recovery certification
Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability
Minimum five years experience in HVAC/Controls field
Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and reference materials
Proficiency with hand and power tools, Microsoft Office, and handheld devices
Knowledge of HVAC controls software systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units
Install and expand HVAC systems
Calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring
Fabricate and install ductwork and piping
Maintain records for Freon usage, maintenance, and repairs
Perform preventive maintenance and air quality testing
Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed
Manage DDC HVAC control systems
Work outside regular hours, including nights and weekends
Follow safety procedures and ensure equipment safety
Assist with projects and coordinate with building staff
Additional Information:
Irregular hours required
Work involves physical demands such as lifting, climbing, and exposure to temperature extremes
Ensure safety and security of tools and vehicles
Perform other duties as assigned
