u00A0 Martin Marietta is seeking a Mechanic to operate service trucks and provide support at Randolph Mine working on and maintaining mining and construction Equipment. Job duties include but not limited to trouble shooting and repairs of heavy equipment, minor rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, repairing/replacing hydraulic lines, pumps, driveshafts, brakes, hydraulic cylinders, basic wiring troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipmentu00A0
Qualifications
u00A0
3-5+ years of experience performing service repairs on Heavy Equipmentu00A0u00A0 Knowledge of mining equipment a plusu00A0u00A0 Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools, torque wrenches and impact wrenches and follow Technical Manual proceduresu00A0 Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of equipmentu00A0 Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesu00A0 Proficient oral and written communication skillsu00A0 Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and lift 75 pounds continually throughout shift (8-12 hours.)u00A0 Must be able to work under stress and prioritize work requirements to meet the overall operational requirementsu00A0 Must be able to work in both hot and cold environmentu00A0 Must be dependable, consistently at work and on time, follow instructions well, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performanceu00A0u00A0 Demonstrated ability to monitor their own work to ensure accuracy and quality is essentialu00A0 High School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredu00A0 Valid Commercial driveru2019s license with a clean driving record is requiredu00A0 Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screeningu00A0 Responsibilities

Efficiently diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet equipmentu00A0 Troubleshoot mechanical, performs basic diagnostics schedules maintenance and repairsu00A0 Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipmentu00A0 Ability to use computer diagnostic toolsu00A0 Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionu00A0 Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsu00A0 Able to work in an underground Mineu00A0u00A0 Other Duties
