Job Summary:
Mills and assembles precut and prefabricated wooden parts to form complete units. Some travel required, paid per diem when traveling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications; determine layout and work sequence.
Setup and operate a wide variety of woodworking tools and machines.
Measures, shapes, adjusts, trims, and sands parts and joints to make parts fit snugly.
Applies glue and inserts dowels, nails, or screws to fasten parts together and form complete units. Further, installs hardware and assembles completed units.
Possession of basic tools and transportation to job sites.
Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time.
