Responsibilities
The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the installation, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
Natural gas and liquids separation & filtration
Amine treating and gas dehydration
Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
Natural gas cryogenic processing
CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration
Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps
Transmitters, valves, actuators, and other instrumentation
Gas and liquids measurement equipment
PLCs and plant control, safety, and communications systems
PDC, MCC, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and additional electrical equipment
Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Condensate stabilization
Heat exchangers & air coolers
Turbine power generation
Propane refrigeration
Qualifications In addition, the Plant Mechanic will be a key contributor to the proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the Plant Mechanic will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The Plant Mechanic will interface regularly with instrumentation & electrical technician, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, environmental, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities during the shift. Housing will be provided during the shift.
