Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters, ensuring work is performed according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Plan and coordinate daily work activities, including resource allocation, task assignments, and progress monitoring to ensure project milestones are achieved. Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Inspect work for quality and compliance with industry standards and project specifications, making necessary adjustments and corrections as needed. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines. Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, engineers, other foremen, and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage. Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices within the pipefitting trade. Education Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pipefitter, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in pipefitting preferred. Relevant certifications in pipefitting and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable. Job Requirements/Special Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Knowledge of various pipefitting techniques and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels Seniority level
