Maintains working climate by installing, repairing, and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Restores and repairs faulty or inoperative refrigeration and HVAC systems and associated equipment. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems inside and outside of equipment. Replaces parts of refrigeration or HVAC systems and inspects refrigeration and HVAC systems and equipment. Welds and solders copper and steel tubing. Complies with local, state, and federal codes and standards. Maintains refrigeration and HVAC maintenance by ensuring that required parts and equipment are available. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including filter changes and regular cleaning. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and safety training classes; reviewing professional publications. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment; provides preventive maintenance and testing of the fuel system(s); maintains gas dispensers by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, electronic circuit boards, and displays. Keeps equipment, systems, and buildings ready for use by repairing equipment, doors, plumbing, floor tiles, painting, food service equipment, and other items inside and outside of the stores. Maintains Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment. Partners with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance of fueling equipment. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with Circle K and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations. Collaborates with Circle K Supervisors to facilitate repairs and utilize sourced vendors when needed. Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials and parts. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Participates in training classes for existing and new equipment. Ensures a safe working environment exists for employees and customers. Qualifications
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems inside and outside of equipment and replace parts as needed. Working knowledge of welding and soldering copper and steel tubing. Ability to read and follow local, state, and federal codes and standards. Experience with preventative maintenance and routine servicing of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
