The base salary for this position is $48,000.00/yr – $52,000.00/yr.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct full-cycle sourcing and recruitment of new employees, including job description development, advertising, building contacts with recruiting sources, interviewing, and supporting internal hiring managers.
Help develop offer letters, job descriptions, and new‑hire communications.
Manage orientation and onboarding processes for employees and interns.
Research, implement, and support administration of all company benefit plans, including annual renewals and open enrollment.
Support employee leave processes by drafting and coordinating required documentation and notifications.
Manage HRIS and support payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees as needed.
Maintain Human Resources systems and records to meet AHA HR information requirements.
Support the management team by providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Maintain and conduct the performance evaluation cycle, including training staff on form completion and ensuring all staff complete their reflections.
Identify and work with external HR or other consultants on special projects as needed.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and make recommendations to the Management Team for improving organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist with annual compliance audits and internal audits to ensure full compliance.
Assist in shaping and improving A Hug Away work culture and values.
Assist with HR work investigations as needed.
Operations Systems Development And Management
Undertake key projects in the clinics and office operations.
Assist in office space management, including anticipating space needs and managing office moves.
Serve as secondary contact person for employees and vendors regarding office operations as needed.
Assist in office supplies procurement for the organization.
Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure new hires are onboarded in a timely manner.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
Previous healthcare experience is a MUST! (Experience in home health or hospice is preferred).
Experience in ADP and QuickBooks.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Being bilingual is a plus.
Self‑starter with a commitment to helping others.
Dependable, committed, and dedicated to providing high‑quality care.
Bright personality with the ability to build personal relationships within the medical community.
Ability to coordinate services to benefit families and patients.
