PRIMARY PURPOSE Housby is seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to assist with daily oversight of our Paint & Body Shop. This position is responsible for supervising daily shop operations, leading a team of technicians to ensure repairs are performed correctly, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Expectations
Manage work in progress and maintain the customer production schedule.
Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and meet delivery deadlines.
Assist with supervisions of Body Shop technicians, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions.
Collaborate with management to plan equipment layout, workflow, and assembly processes.
Inspect completed work for quality standards.
Monitor technician productivity and performance; report concerns to Body Shop Manager.
Support training initiatives for new and less experienced technicians.
Ensure accurate logging of technician hours to relevant jobs.
Maintain clear communication across all Body Shop areas.
Work extended hours as needed.
Promote safe work habits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Participate in training and professional development.
Uphold a professional image and adhere to company policies.
Skills & Experience
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of a Paint & Body Shop, preferably with heavy‑duty vehicles or equipment.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related role.
Understanding of customer service, sales, and marketing principles.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting technical documents.
Basic math skills, including unit conversions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of material.
Requires the use of both hands.
Position may require standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to view a computer monitor.
Work Environment
The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.
Potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning material or other toxic materials commonly found in motor vehicle service departments, some of which may be considered health hazards.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Works indoors and out.
