Sous Chef Miami, FL/ Full-time Your responsibilities Under direction of the Showroom Manager, the Sous Chef will assist with mise en place for corporate training meals and culinary demonstrations, organization and cleanliness of the kitchens. Professionally presents to educate and inform guests for the use of Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau products.

Assists with inventory/ordering of food purchasing, waste measurement and documentation, storage, preparation and service with regard to quality, quantity and safety

Prepares purchasing lists, receives food delivery, reviews deliveries, labels and properly stores

In collaboration with the chef and under the direction of the Showroom Manager:

Prepares and organizes demonstration tools & food stuffs in advance, ensuring that foods are prepared on schedule

Demonstrates high level and volume of quality food production

Follows the prep and task lists created by the chef and maintains a high level of food quality and efficient production output, with the aim of exceeding our guests’ expectations

Executes culinary production within the context of Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau appliances’ value propositions

Assists in creating recipes that can be given to guests and that can be duplicated for future programs or events

Professionally presents to educate and inform guests for the use of Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau products

Ensures the security of all foods for proper storage

Complies with sanitation guidelines; maintains a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc

Fosters and contributes to a positive team spirit and collaborative mind-set at all times

Makes maintain professionalism in interaction with guests

Presenting a clean and professional image and representing BSH in a professional manner

Daily opening and closing tasks supporting operation of showroom

Other duties as assigned

Your profile

0-2 Years of Experience (Prep cook in restaurant, corporate chef, hotel/report) – Required

Formal Culinary training or similar experience in Culinary arts excellence

Takes direction carefully and thoughtfully; reads and follows recipes

Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen; preferred food handler card

Outstanding organizational skills

A team player with good communication skills

Comfortable presenting basic to moderate culinary presentations to small to large groups

Strong understanding of food preparation

Experience in high volume food production and quality preparation

Team player with the ability to work well with others

Creative and a quick problem-solver

Demonstrates a desire to learn and support Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau products/brands

Excellent computer skills and aptitude to learn applications, as needed

Must demonstrate good judgment and discretion when exposed to confidential information

Able to work a flexible work schedule - some evening hours required

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.

The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).

40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).

12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
