This remote, full‑time position carries responsibility for end‑to‑end closing processes, document preparation, and post‑closing tracking for a portfolio of institutional and community‑bank customers. Responsibilities
Pre‑Closing & Due Diligence (55%)
– Review CAM packages, order flood determinations, verify lien perfection, and coordinate closing memoranda with deal partners. Loan Documentation (25%)
– Partner with counsel to draft and review loan documents, ensure accurate loan‑system setup, and manage shared repository uploads for syndicated work. Post‑Closing (5%)
– Resolve ongoing items such as insurance expirations, rate‑type changes, and loan‑structure updates while maintaining compliance with AML and bank policies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 4–6 years of SBA loan operations or closing experience in a banking environment. Strong understanding of SBA products, E‑Tran, and loan‑documentation best practices. Proficiency in LaserPro, Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Candidates residing within BankUnited’s footprint may be given preference.
