Main Responsibilities The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for processing all inbound receipts, inspecting for accuracy, recording receipts, following up with suppliers on discrepancies, distributing materials where necessary, assisting with cycle counting, and supporting shipping and general operations of the warehouse. This includes but is not limited to:

inventories for both warehouse and manufacturing supplies (chemicals, filters, manufacturing attire, tubes, bottles)

maintain forklift maintenance log, housekeeping of work area

maintain freezer/cold-box inventories

separate all plasma source and recovered when received

allocate product in freezer

complete daily movement forms and all necessary documents accurately

work towards achieving OKRs

organize and monitor outbound shipments to meet customer deadlines

communicate with freight carriers and ensure proper documentation for domestic and international shipments

prepare shipping documents (BOL, invoices, customs forms) and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

collaborate with other functions to confirm product availability and accurate order fulfillment

organize and conduct frequent inventory cycle counts

monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and provide timely updates to stakeholders

sort/separate/label all plasma

completing logs for forklift/backup generator & notify supervisor of maintenance needed

maintain a safe and clean work environment by following cGMP and standard operating procedures

Qualifications & Skills

strong communication & interpersonal skills

strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices in a cGMP environment

critical thinking ability and proactive approach to problem solving

understands & follows guidelines for ISO, FDA, DOT, etc.

Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software

able to operate forklift and general warehouse machinery

bilingual Spanish and English is a plus

Education and/or Experience

3-5 years’ experience working in warehousing processing receipts

experience with shipping/receiving, inventory control, inventory reconciliation, Batch/Lot Tracking, Cycle Counting, yearly physical inventory

high school diploma or GED required, associate degree in health science or related discipline is preferred

Reasoning Ability

ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions as well as the capability to collect data and organize effectively

Computer Skills

knowledge of Microsoft Office package, ERP system (Oracle NetSuite preferred), fast and efficient general computer user, able to learn additional programs

Math Ability

ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (simple amounts such as discounts, percentages, volumes and conversion factors)

Communication Skills

strong written and verbal skills are required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Needs to be able to communicate with inter‑department and outer‑department coworkers to relay and intake relevant information
