Accounting Specialist
Clean As New® is an industrial cleaning company that combines patented ultrasonic cleaning and robotic rinsing technologies to restore heat exchangers, piping components, and parts to like‑new condition. Overview The Accounting Specialist will manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. The role also oversees invoicing for mobile jobs, collaborates with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies, maintains accurate financial records, and supports month‑end closing activities.
Pay Range $55,000 – $65,000 annual salary, paid bi‑weekly
Full‑time position
In‑office Monday through Friday
Location: Baytown, Texas
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle AP and AR, including posting invoices, generating customer bills, reconciling vendor statements, tracking outstanding balances, and preparing weekly AP runs and AR projections.
Oversee invoicing for mobile jobs, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely delivery to customers.
Reconcile account and billing discrepancies by reviewing documentation and communicating with vendors and customers.
Maintain accurate financial records, support month‑end closing, assist with audit activities, and uphold internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborate with operations, field staff, sales, and other teams to ensure billing accuracy and smooth workflow processes.
Assist with specialized tasks such as sales tax exemption support, customer prepayment arrangements, billing platform data transfers, and custom billing setup and maintenance.
Organize and electronically maintain all financial files and documentation thoroughly and in accordance with company policy.
Ad hoc reporting as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
A minimum of 3 years of experience in AP and AR.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, D365).
Strategic communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills for assessing financial information accurately.
Employment Requirements

Pass pre‑employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screenings.
2–4 solid professional references.
