The Executive Administrator will elevate Bridgeway Community Church’s operational excellence and donor engagement. This role will ensure seamless administrative functions, enhance donor relationships, and foster financial stewardship. By building bridges between donors, staff, and operational goals, the coordinator will contribute to a culture of accountability, generosity, and shared purpose, directly aligning with the church’s mission to reach its community, culture, and world for Christ. Please note: this role does not involve solicitation for donations.
Key Responsibilities Donor Relations and Financial Administration
Engage with donors during lobby time to build relationships and provide updates on church initiatives.
Manage donor records, including processing and logging contributions accurately.
Assist with counting checks and cash donations, maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
Assist with the distribution of weekly giving reports to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Oversee first-time donor acknowledgments.
Administrative Support
Coordinate tasks assigned by the CFO/COO, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-ups for CFO/COO meetings, Financial Operations team meetings, and supervisor-employee meetings.
Manage Basecamp to track projects, tasks, and communication across departments.
Operational Support
Issue credit cards and oversee onboarding processes for new employees.
Maintain and organize the workroom, ensuring supplies are stocked and the area is clean.
Distribute mail and packages to appropriate staff members promptly.
Manage support tickets via Spiceworks or similar systems, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
Hospitality and Meeting Coordination
Provide hospitality services, including refreshments, for Financial Operations meetings.
Prepare slides and distribute newsletters or “newsflashes” for internal and external communications.
Employee Engagement
Send reminders and follow-ups to employees about key dates, tasks, and responsibilities.
Assist with new hire onboarding and foster connections between team members.
Required Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or higher
Preferred Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Church/Ministry or Non-profit Experience Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, Basecamp, ChatGPT and Spiceworks or similar systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality and relationship building.
Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.

This job operates in a professional office environment. Travel is primarily local during the business day; however, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required. Bridgeway operates out of two locations.

The actions include, but are not limited to, standing/walking, speaking/listening, reaching/grabbing, and typing. The position also lends itself to occasionally lifting up to 20lbs of office products and supplies.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Expected work hours may fall outside of standard business hours as requested and/or approved by the COO and CFO, including holidays.
The current work week is Monday through Thursday; Sundays
