Real Estate Account Analyst.

Responsibilities
The Real Estate Account Analyst ensures the accuracy of transaction records, financial processing, and control processes in the JDE Property Management system.
This role supports proper landlord payments, billing corrections, and financial adjustments.
Reconcile landlord accounts by reviewing general ledger and sub-ledgers against legal contracts
Recommend adjustments and negotiate settlements with Property teams
Make corrections in JDE upon final determination
Communicate with landlords via phone and email to explain contract terms and reconciliation outcomes
Research and interpret legal documents and contract terms
Collaborate with internal teams and external account holders to ensure billing and payment accuracy
Escalate issues identified during reconciliation and review
Update JDE system to reflect accurate billing, payments, and financials
Administer recurring financial processes including:
Monthly revenue and expense escalations
Termination of revenue and expense streams
Detection and correction of data inaccuracies affecting FAS13 adjustments
Work on special accounts, data integrity reports, and exception projects
Maintain thorough knowledge of JDE tables, field usage, and data flow from Property Management to General Ledger
Ensure timely financial adjustments under monthly deadlines
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Accounting and financial reconciliation
Contract interpretation and legal document review
Agility in managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
Title experience is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-2 years of accounting experience
Experience reviewing legal real estate contracts preferred
2+ years in a fast-paced, detail-oriented profession
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents
Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of accounting principles
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
