Job Summary CT/HX is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair cooling towers and plate and frame heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance and repairs, including electrical and control scopes.

Communicate with customers to identify issues and provide solutions.

Assemble mechanical parts per specifications.

Diagnose and resolve equipment functionality problems.

Maintain detailed work logs, repair records, and submit daily reports.

Ensure cleanliness and safety of job sites and company vehicles.

Perform assessments to prevent equipment inefficiencies.

Lead and manage a team to ensure safety and quality of work.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Basic knowledge of Cooling Towers and Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers.

Electrical and Controls: Drawing wiring diagrams, quality control inspections, system data analysis, equipment calibration, and electrical upgrades.

Mechanical: Servicing drive trains, metal refinishing, heat transfer fill media, preventative maintenance, and filtration systems.

Strong organizational skills, job site safety, and tool management.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Base Pay:

$25-$40/Hour Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the positioning the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
