SWBC is seeking a talented individual to partner with an experienced loan originator and develop skills in business development, pipeline management, loan origination, documentation, team collaboration, and compliance. The role involves actively maintaining a network of relationships to generate new mortgage loan business in purchase and refinance markets, while meeting quality and production goals set by the Company and Branch Manager. The role provides a base wage plus commissions, offering financial security during your learning and development phase. Essential duties include: Partner with an experienced SWBC originator to call on and visit prospective referral sources for mortgage loan solicitation, developing ongoing relationships. Learn to independently develop and manage a mortgage loan pipeline, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met. Coordinate with realtors, builders, processors, and underwriters to facilitate smooth transactions and maintain customer interactions. Gather and prepare necessary documents with borrowers, processors, title companies, and insurance agents to meet underwriting requirements. Stay updated on investor guidelines, interest rates, loan locks, and related topics. Perform prequalification of clients, discussing rates, terms, and financial options. Assist with other sales functions as assigned by the senior loan originator. Achieve loan quality and production goals as established by the Company and Branch Manager.
