Job Description
We provide a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial in-person training, this role may have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week. Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated carrier, is seeking a motivated individual for the role of entry-level PIP Claims Representative in MI. Responsibilities include: Investigating and assembling facts, determining policy coverage, evaluating losses, and paying owed benefits. Reviewing medical bills, authorizing payments, and ensuring timely and accurate payments in accordance with Michigan No-Fault Statute. Administering benefits under the Michigan No-Fault Statute. Working toward claim resolution and attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as needed. Servicing agents, policyholders, and others. Handling investigations via phone and mail. Conducting investigations on complex claims. Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to resolve complex issues Data organization and interpretation skills Ability to manage multiple assignments Attention to detail Benefits
