Conduct daily rounds in assigned areas and complete necessary documentation. Manage mechanical delays in your area. Repair mechanical equipment throughout the mill. Reduce maintenance costs in your area. Scan out all repair parts used from capital spares and warehouse inventory during your shift. Participate in maintenance improvement activities (CIT, MADE, RCA, CAPEX). Progress through the SKILL BASED pay plant curriculum. Ensure work effectiveness regarding wrench time, competencies, overtime, etc. Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
Preferred: Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Journeyman Machine Repairman, or Journeyman Millwright card. Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience. Capable of lifting 50 pounds routinely. Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights. Willing to work in various temperatures. Positive attitude towards safety and quality. Excellent attendance record. Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts. Must pass mechanical assessment test. Proficient in troubleshooting Power Transmission, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
