Responsibilities
Perform third-party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activity.
Review plans and determine if permitted design plans require revisions, making recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects.
Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports in accordance with ECS policy.
Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections.
Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing required.
Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
Valid driver's license required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
