The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for generating, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of commercial, consumer, and real estate loans in compliance with the bank's lending policies and procedures. The Loan Officer will also be responsible for the credit decisions, overall credit quality, and interest and fee income.
This position will be responsible for the collections of loans. Loan collections include written notifications and phone call support to ensure the bank's past due rate is within set guidelines. In addition, this position is responsible for helping attract new customers and deepen relationships with existing customers. This will be accomplished through active involvement in the community and through participation in the bank's customer service and sales efforts.
As a team member of bank staff, the Loan Officer will support other departments and bank functions, including support to the department with analyzing customer financials, updating loan ticklers, loan administration duties, and backup support for incoming calls as needed. This position has no supervision responsibilities. Education & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong desire for building customer relationships with a go-giver mindset and involvement in our local communities; Associates degree in accounting, finance, business management, or related field with three (3) years of experience in lending. About Us
