Responsible for processing various transactions and opening accounts (consumer and small business). Promotes the bank's products and services, maintains and closes accounts. Manages the client experience for service requests and ensures branch procedures comply with operational and security policies. Ensures compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Essential Job Functions
Provide excellent customer service, being courteous, welcoming, and attentive. Educate clients on using technology self-service options like the FLB Mobile App and ITMs. Collaborate with team members and other departments to offer suitable products and solutions. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently. Accurately complete financial transactions while adhering to policies and regulations. Open and close deposit accounts. Process loan/credit requests up to $10,000. Handle orders for ATM/Debit cards and check requests. Answer phone inquiries and handle transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances. Manage cash in accordance with assigned limits, balance at day's end, and report discrepancies. Participate in dual control and safe deposit transactions if applicable. Assist in opening and closing procedures. Maintain knowledge of banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. Complete all required training timely. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. At least 6 months of customer service experience (retail, sales, financial services). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of branch operations, account opening, transactions, compliance, and policies. Sound decision-making skills related to customer service and workflows. Familiarity with all bank products and services. Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Multilingual skills, including Spanish, are a plus. Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role involves office conditions with frequent sitting, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Equipment operated includes telephones, computers, scanners, and cash handling tools. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. Physical and mental demands include reading, customer interaction, reasoning, math, language, verbal communication, stress management, multitasking, and dealing with interruptions.
