Start out as an installer and you can even work your way up to becoming a trainer, installation manager or regional manager in no time.
Responsibilities
Provide installation of stairlifts both inside and outside of the home.
Use mechanical and carpentry skills with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
Prefer 1 year of carpentry/construction experience with light electrical skills (ability to add or move outlets).
Own a box truck, cargo van, full size pickup or full size SUV.
Current or ability to obtain general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance or exemption, depending on state (we can assist).
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays Monday‑Friday; both in‑state and out‑of‑state.
Must have all necessary tools for the job, including box wrenches, Allen wrenches, 12” miter saw, nut driver set and drill driver extension.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a 1099 contractor position.
Stairlift installation compensation averages around $250–$350 per job, requiring 2–4 hours; curved stairlifts average around $600 for 4–6 hours.
All jobs are pre‑sold; no sales involved, just the installation.
Flexible schedule.
No out‑of‑pocket expenses – we purchase and stage all jobs for you.
Weekly pay via direct deposit.
