Job Description Prime Response Inc (PRI) is seeking a Business Development Associate to support PRI’s Business Development department. Will be responsible for providing support and expertise for a growth-focused small business in the government contracting industry. Will provide support in all areas of the Business Development process. Will support the Business Development Manager and team on a daily basis relative to the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities.

Requirements
Experience with the business development cycle including prospecting, qualification, capture management, and proposal support.
Knowledge and experience with government contracting industry such as SCA, FAR, DFAR, and government acquisition guidelines and terminology.
Knowledge and proficiency in the use of online government opportunity sites, acquisition forecasts, government data, and competitive intelligence.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Must be a good communicator and be able to take complex concepts and present them in a coherent, compelling, and logical manner.
Must be internally motivated and able/willing to work with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
Must be team oriented and goal focused.
Must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of leading small teams.
Candidate Preferences/Differentiators
Prior government and/or military background preferable.
Knowledge of contract vehicles and e.g., GSA MAS, OASIS+, Seaport, STARS III, etc.
Leveragable recent relationships.
2-3+ years of verifiable recent experience in business development activities is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in the use of AI tools in the business development process.
