Job Type Hourly/Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills and Abilities
Work efficiently and effectively
Computer and cashier knowledge including all duties assigned with the cash out process
Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal
Possess good customer service skills appropriate for contact with staff, teachers, parents, and students
Exhibit quality time management skills
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of Meal Magic preferred
Job Description
Kitchen assignment is subject to daily change as placement is dependent on need
Work as part of a team and assist fellow co‑workers in their duties
Prepare and cook food in large quantities
Maintain routine records related to food, service, and inventory
Serve and clean‑up kitchen and cafeteria
Keep kitchen at Health Department regulation standards
Properly check in food products and place them in appropriate storage areas in timely manner
Other duties assigned by the Food Service Director
Salary/Benefits Starting at $14.48; commensurate with experience
Paid sick and personal business days and holidays
Health Insurance or Cash In‑Lieu benefit
Retirement Plan
Uniform Allowance
Days/Hours 6 Hours/Day; 7:00 am -1:30 pm including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
