R-25045**JOB DESCRIPTION**Job SummaryUnder the direction of a Tooling Supervisor, the Tool and Die Maker is responsible for repairing dies and making adjustments as needed to run dies in accordance with the customers’ standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Tool and Die Maker must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting* Perform die set operations* Perform preventative maintenance on metal stamping dies* Perform quality checks* Perform other duties as required* Tool and Die Maker must complete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers.Qualifications**Required:*** High School diploma or equivalent (GED)* Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a sheet metal stamping facility or similar experience* Minimum 1-2 years of experience with large transfer and progressive dies* Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework* Standing 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc. * Be able to work 2nd shift**Preferred:*** Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor**Rate of Pay**: $35.43 per hour**PRIMARY LOCATION**Battle Creek Seating ComponentAdient (NYSE: ADNT) is a global leader in automotive seating.
