We are seeking a highly motivated
Capital Markets Analyst
to join our team and support all aspects of
fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets initiatives . This is an ideal role for a first‑ or second‑year investment banking analyst who wants to transition into private equity on the capital formation and investor side, gaining direct exposure to senior leadership, institutional investors, and capital markets activities from end to end. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. This individual will play an important role in organizing capital‑raising efforts, assisting in the preparation of investor materials, and ensuring smooth engagement with LPs and other key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing all aspects of the fundraising lifecycle, including pipeline tracking, due diligence, and LP communications. Develop and maintain investor presentations, pitch decks, PPMs, and other collateral. Support data room management and respond to investor due diligence requests. Track investor interactions and prepare outreach updates for leadership. Conduct industry and investor research to identify and prioritize potential LP targets. Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, roadshows, and annual meetings. Analytics and Reporting
Prepare and analyze fundraising metrics, pipeline reports, and investor engagement summaries. Assist with quarterly investor reporting, fund performance updates, and ad hoc requests. Maintain and enhance internal databases and dashboards to improve fundraising visibility and efficiency. Strategic Functions
Collaborate with the deal team to develop fund strategy materials and positioning. Support Partners and senior leadership in developing marketing strategies and communication plans for current and future funds. Participate in cross‑functional projects involving finance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless fundraising and transaction execution. Streamline internal workflows and improve processes for greater efficiency. Support ad hoc strategic projects assigned by senior leadership. Qualifications
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in investment banking, placement agent, or private equity preferred. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Technical Skills:
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial (real estate a plus) modeling and presentation design. Professional Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously; strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills; ability to distill complex investment concepts into clear and compelling materials; comfortable interfacing with senior executives and institutional investors.
