About the Role: Restorative Aide (RNA) We are seeking a
compassionate and skilled Restorative Aide
to help residents achieve and maintain their highest level of independence. This role bridges therapy services and long-term care, supporting restorative programs and daily encouragement while ensuring residents’ nutritional and physical needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and assist with restorative nursing programs tailored to individual residents
Support residents transitioning from skilled rehab to restorative or preventative care programs
Document restorative progress and update care records accurately
Visit residents daily to monitor engagement and ensure restorative programs are effective
Assist with patient meals and dietary restrictions to support nutritional needs
Apply and maintain splints, and demonstrate knowledge of splinting techniques as part of restorative care
Collaborate with Activities Department and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Active CNA license in the state of Georgia
Experience or knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy and procedures
Experience with patient meals/dietary restrictions
Knowledge of splinting and splinting techniques
Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Strong communication and documentation skills
A team-oriented, resident-centered attitude
Shift Details
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Every Other Weekend availability
