The Leasing Agent reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition. Assist with leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability. Ensure accurate records of availability align with lease renewal reports. Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval. Manage property licenses and renewals by liaising with legal counsel and the City. Assist with the check-out process, including final account statements, accepting keys, and inspecting vacated units. Ensure accurate and efficient lease signings and resident check-ins. Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints, fostering good public relations and reporting to the General Manager. Prepare weekly reports on property performance as needed. Support advertising and marketing programs to position the property competitively. Assist in developing and implementing resident retention initiatives. Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors. Handle general administrative duties such as filing and typing. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Entrata is preferred. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are essential. Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and follow all legal and procedural guidelines. Additional Information
